 All the hair is 100% human hair; you can test by burning a string—it will have a feather smell and become ash. Treat the hair as if it were your own hair. Use a flat iron/straightener below 180 degrees, as with your own hair; never use hot tools too often. The factory washes the hair with warm water and shampoo, and we will put hair oil on the hair before shipment, protecting the hair from being dyed during longer-term delivery. But the smell will disappear after washing it with good shampoo and conditioner. Yes, human hair can be colored. It is easier to darken the hair than to lighten the hair. We recommend dyeing darker, not lighter. Hair will be easily dry after leaving the hair donor, so don’t dye or bleach hair too frequently; it will damage the hair. Also, please do it professionally. We will double-check the type and length before shipment. When you receive the hair, you can measure it by stretching it so you can get the correct length. Virgin, non-dyed hair has a few strands of gray hair inside; we usually pick the hair up in production, but we DO NOT guarantee 100% no gray hairs, please understand, and pick the few strands out yourself. The hair can tangle due to dry oil & dirt buildup, saltwater chlorine, and not combing (wide-tooth comb) out your hair daily. Make sure to wash and condition your hair twice a week. Use olive oil to polish it smooth, or consult your stylist for more help.
